Six companies associated to IBIAE will go to the toy fair in Nuremberg from today to next Monday. ALBERO VILAPLANA, CLAUDIO REIG, COLORBABY, INJUSA, MOLTÓ and PALAU HERMANOS will show their latest developments and their new catalogue 2017 in the German city.
The most important companies will show the quality of their toys over six days. The Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg becomes the centre of the toy sector. There will be over 2.800 exhibitors from over 60 countries and 820 of them show their innovations only in Nuremberg. All visitors –70.000 from 120 countries— are professionals. In fact, 20.000 of them go specifically to this meeting and don’t go to others which take place throughout the year.
The TrendGallery is a space into the fair which show the latest trends selected by a team of experts. This year three trends will be analysed: “Body and mind” (toys and games that mix fitness and movement with mind stimulators); “the power of girls” (games and toys that encourage girls to be what they want to be); “change and collect” (collectibles that you can change with your friends are back. A diversion for children and adults).
Furthermore, the fair will offer a new Tech2play zone specialised in technological toy where visitors will find the latest developments about electronical pets, robotic toys, radio control drones, virtual games and 3D printing.
Changes for the next edition
The Spielwarenmesse will reduce the meeting to 5 days in 2018. This way the fair will end in Sunday and not in Monday.
The dates to 2018 edition has been fixed from 31 January to 4 February. This is a decision made by the Organization with the purpose to make it more compact and to improve its efficiency.
