The collaboration, innovation and the knowledge sharing have always been features of the companies of our region, and prove  of it are IQAP Masterbatch, company from Ibi and specialist since more than 30 years in additives and polymer coloration, and Prodescom Rotomoldeo, company from Castalla, specialist in the manufacturing of plastic products rotomolding.

Both companies collaborate since 2014 beside the German multinational Merck to make a design chair by rotomolding with effect pigments with an unsurpassable finished and results that have exceeded the expectations.

It was this year, when they presented in Expoquimia a little piece of home furnishing manufactured by rotomolding with effect pigments of Merck and with great results.

However, it wasn´t until the celebration of K´Fair in Düsseldorf, when these chairs were presented for the first time whose results couldn’t  have been obtained until the moment, and which have manufactured with a IRIODIN white pearly pigment of the WAY family and other of the Color stream family.

The project , which is complete success in this moment, has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the company Calma, manufacturer of high quality furniture, and Serra&delaRocha, responsible for the innovation and ergonomic design of the chair.

It is necessary to know that the company IQAP Masterbatch, company associated to IBIAE , also participate in other innovative projects like MASTALMOND, headed by AIJU (Technological Institute of the toy) and whose objective is to create new additives to color biodegradable and respectful with the environment plastics, based on almond shells, to apply to the toy and furniture sector mainly.
