LITOCHAP participated in Packaging Innovations last September. This is an annual event dedicated to the packaging and it took place in the Olympia in London’s space. It is a small trade fair and it is focused to the local market but there were visitors from countries like France or India too. However, as Lorena Fernández, export manager from the company, says “many companies have their headquarters in London and you receive a lot of interesting visits. In fact, I would like to open market in the United Kingdom”.
One of the aspects that Fernández stresses is “we can make small amounts of 500 or 1.000 units. LITOCHAP is manufacturer not importer. This circumstance surprised those who visited us so they are costumed to people that normally ask them for minimum purchased orders from 5.000 units”. She also says “the metal box is very used in the United Kingdom because there are a lot of companies from the tea sector”.
It is too early to draw important conclusions about the presence of LITOCHAP in Packaging Innovations but Fernández says “in the next months we have seen results and we have received purchased orders as consequence of exposing in London. Therefore, our impression is positive”.
On the other hand, the next trade fair that LITOCHAP will go is Emballage in Paris from 14 to 17 November.
